I am obsessed with the colour of this shirt. What I love that it’s bright and vibrant, yet sophisticated and modern AND it goes with EVERYTHING! It’s the perfect pop of colour to a grey colour palette. I actually used it as a pop in my living room.

The blouse is by Jack, a line created by BB Dakota. I picked it up at an local boutique where I live (Wasted Fashion). I love the fabric. It’s so comfortable and it’s natural fibres are a bonus (if you don’t know by now, I’m a bit of a fabric snob – natural fabrics only when possible). The tie adds a level of sophistication, off-setting the slightly lower neckline.

I have worn this with everything from black skinny’s to leather leggings. Here, I paired it with dark high-waisted denims by FRAME (New fave brand of jeans!). The stitching in the jeans work great with the shirt and the knee-high suede boots marry well with the bow-tie, adding some Parisian vibes.

I love this shaggy mohair coat I picked up at Club Monaco a couple years ago, but it really needs to be worn with a pop of colour and this marigold shade is the perfect combo! It was freezing cold the day we took these photos, despite the appearance of no snow on the ground, so this jacket was nice and warm.

Do you have a go-to-colour that works with everything? What is it? Does it trickle into your home decor?!

Thanks for reading! Enjoy your week!
