Black & Yellow

Blazer: Zara (no longer available) similar here,  here &here | Dress: Club Monaco (no longer available) similar versions here & herehere & here oh & I just love this one |Shoes: Sam Edelman | Purse: Chanel (great price for gently used one)

This little black number doubles as a tunic and dress. The darker colour and fabric combo make it season-less depending what you pari with it. It’s silk, so it’s light and breathable (anyone knows me, knows I am a bit of a fabric snob, and always prefer natural fabrics over synthetic). I found this dress to be great as a layer piece too (i.e., under sweater dresses). It’s non-maternity, but roomy enough to accommodate my growing bump (although I”m not sure how much longer I will pull it off)

The Jacket is Zara find. I picked it up while on vacation around 8 weeks pregnant. I have always been a lover of mostly all shades yellow, from soft to bright. This canary yellow is on trend for spring summer and it works great with other naturals. You can create so many different vibes depending on how you work it. I love that it’s bright and sunny pop of colour helps make this dress summer appropriate for work.

I have always loved how yellow pops with black. There is something really elegant, yet bold about it. It would also look really fresh with a white pallet and classic with beiges or nudes. The jacket is the CEO of your wardrobe and every girl should have at least one fun/bold version that adds personalty to an ensemble.

Lastly, I can’t say enough good things about these shoes. They are so comfortable. The leather is supple, block heal gives stability and support while also adding height. They remind me a lot of the Steve Madden Carson, which I also love. I should also mention, they run true to size.

I have linked some similar options to achieve this look above and below. I hope everyone is having the best day! Thanks for reading!!
