Dress: Pink Blush | Shoes: Steve Madden | Purse: Clare. V
Since getting Sadie dog, 3 years ago, then becoming new parents, two years ago with Elle Rose, we have been been traveling to places that are not quite so far away, to make it easier on all of us! That said, we are finally getting to see some of the places we’ve always wanted to go, like The Hamptons.
We are having the best time in East Hampton. There’s so much to see and do! Beaches are beautiful, there is great shopping and restaurants. All the surrounding towns have their own vibes and we have been checking each one out, making our way through and enjoying their individual personalities.
This dress is another Pink Blush number. I can’t say enough about this maternity site. I’ve had some great success with on trend maternity dresses for reasonable prices. I highly recommend! I especially love the colour and romantic vibe of this one. The lace is so femme & pretty, while the off the shoulder works so well with my body shape (especially during pregnancy).
The only complaint is I think it makes me look a little bigger than I am right now. I think it’s because all the extra fabric, which makes it more maternity. However, I am hoping it will look more flattering as my bump grows bigger. I actually purchased it for a wedding, but felt it wasn’t super flattering on me for this reason. I will be able to wear it well into September though, as our weather is always great during that month and the colour is nice and muted, so works for summer or early fall.
I feel it definitely works with the mood of the Hamptons, don’t you think? It comes in several other colours as well. I’ve linked it above. I took a small, which is my pre-pregnancy size. It’s a little tight in the bust, but not too bad. I don’t think I would want to size up, as the bottom is already a little overwhelming for my shape.
