This polka dot dress I wore for my gender reveal was such a great find. I swapped the belt out for this look and replaced it with my own patent belt, which I prefer. I was actually going to do this for the gender reveal, but my sister and niece were like, NO, use the belt that came with it – until the saw it with this belt (by then it was too late – haha).
Anyway, this is a sweet little dress that can be worn for various occasions. It can be dressed up or down, so you can wear it for work or play. Try it with pumps, sandals even a pair of white sneakers, to see what suits your vibe and occasion.
The fabric is light enough for cool summer days and nights, but the long sleeves and the black and white colour scheme will allow me to wear it well into fall, which is great, since I’m not due until November.
I love that it can be mixed and matched with other pieces to make it look different. By adding a pop of colour with a jacket or shoes or even a lipstick, it completely changes the vibe of the dress! Gotta love black and white – works with everything.
It’s made of viscose which is totally breathable, which is ultra important to me, especially when pregnant and during summer. Another total bonus is it’s currently on sale! I ordered in a size 2 and am typically a small or 4-6 in dresses. Great transition piece for summer to fall.
