I hope you’ve had an awesome week! As some of you may know, I was recently invited to be a member of LikeToKnow.it. This is an app created to help people shop for products easier online. It is SO genius and before I was a member, I used it all the time. If one of my favourite bloggers would share a photo on Instagram and I loved their outfit or the home decor in the photo, I could simply take a screenshot of it and would have immediate access to the links to all the products straight in my email. Then I could shop them from my phone or lap top. It’s that easy – I still use it to shop my favourite influencers looks.
To take advantage of this amazing tool, you just need to download the LikeToKnow.it App. which is totally free! Then, you an follow some of your favourite bloggers, like me! After you download the app, simply search for my name under influencers (RebeccaDawsonxo) and click follow!
To use the app and shop products you like in a photo, all you have to do is take a screenshot of one of my pics. Then after taking a screenshot the app will analyze it and send you an email notification with all the details! You can do this on instatram or facebook pics with LiketoKnow.it logo or also simply open the app, search for your favourite influencer (me!) and shop the content that was featured, as I will have it all linked! (see below images for example of search).
As you can see an example from above, when you search my profile, you can see any of my recent images. So to refresh, you can click on each individual picture for links or screenshot them for details. Interestingly, the screenshot idea the company implemented, came from the idea that many people already take a screenshot of something they want to buy. So they have made it easier by sending you the exact links to these products you are loving so you can instantly shop them.
You can also shop and gain inspiration by putting key words into search under products, for example, “maternity dresses” or “white sofas” or “summer trends.” It’s such an amazing tool!
