Dress: Red Dress Boutique | Shoes: Michael Kors, no longer available, but similar here | Purse: No longer available. but similar here also really like this as a dressier option too!
I hope you’re enjoying the weekend! I want to talk about a dress site I stumbled upon several months ago. You may or may not have heard of it, but in case you’re in the latter category, I just need to share, as it’s super affordable and I have had luck with a few over the last few months.
It’s called the Red Dress Boutique. I picked up a few dresses, including this one, early in my second trimester! I went for drapey, loose styles to accommodate my growing bump. I took my regular size small in some but this one I sized up (went with a medium). I had it tailored under the arms, to make it fit better, which wasn’t a big expense, considering the dress was only around $65 CAD. I think it’s a great site for trendier pieces that you don’t want to splurge on. Overall, the quality for the price was great with my selections. The service was also smooth and quick. I will definitely order from them again.
I love a good maxi dress, especially for summer. This dress was great, as it can be dressed up or down. My wedges and handbag make it more causal, but you could easily dress it up with a chain style handbag (I’ve linked an option above) and strappy sandals.
The weather has been really nice, some almost summer-like days, where I live! So, I figured I would take advantage and squeeze one more wear out of it before it’s retired for the season. It has a nice weighted fabric combined with the colour scheme, makes it a great summer/fall transition piece.
Also, these exact shoes and handbag are no longer available, but I have linked some similar options in this colour Michael Kors calls “Acorn.” It’s like a cognac colour and I LOVE it. I have worked these accessories with some many colour combos. Great colour accessory to add to your wardrobe and Michael Kors shoes are one of the most comfortable I have worn. Always have great success.
Drop a comment if you have any questions! Thanks for reading and enjoy the rest of your weekend
