I picked up these sneakers in a local boutique while vacationing in Martha’s Vineyard. I sort of hummed and hawed over them, as I wasn’t sure how much I would wear them, since we have such short autumn season where I live. Well, I am so glad I decided to get them, because I have been living in them.
Third trimester with baby number two is a lot more uncomfortable and feels way longer and also is going into the cooler months, where as I gave birth to Elle late summer. This time around, I am needing more closed toe and warmer shoes and almost none of my shoes fit right now. So these have been so practical and work with so many of my autumn wardrobe.
This sock sneaker gives my swollen feet some room, where as most of my other sneakers and pretty well all my shoes and boots are way too tight right now! I swear it feels like my feet have grown an entire half-size or maybe even size! The good news is they will shrink back and all my shoes should fit again post baby – haha. But seriously, these sneakers are literally like walking on clouds – seriously that comfortable!
That said, if you’re expecting and going to be entering third trimester during the cooler months, whether this is your first second, third, fourth or beyond – definitely invest in a pair of comfortable and stylish statement sneakers that have some give to them. They are a maternity wardrobe staple.
Until next time, thanks for reading and have a great rest of your weekend!
