The Easiest, Romantic Shirtdress (nursing & mom-ing friendly)

Dress: H& M | Shoes: Steve Madden (no longer available) but similar here & here |Purse: Clare V (I’ve gotten so much wear out of this bag the past two summers). Sunglasses: Gucci

Florals are almost always a common theme in spring and summer. I love how a floral maxi dress can feel so effortlessly romantic. It’s the perfect wardrobe staple for a hot summer day, when you want to feel chic, comfortable and pretty. As a mom, I love a maxi dress, as it allows me to chase my littles around and do all the bending over and picking up, without feeling like I am going to have a wardrobe malfunction.

This dress in particular has been a go to for me. I reach for it at least once a week. It is so easy to wear (and nursing friendly). I have worn it to Elle’s friends birthday party, church, for brunch and am actually wearing it right now as I type this blog from a coffee shop. I wish there were other prints, as I would likely buy them all!

It’s also a really nice easy dress to take on summer vacation. I will be bringing on ours next week for sure! It’s perfect vibe for a family picnic in a park or family supper at a restaurant. Also, great for just walking around and exploring and shopping on a warm day.

I am wearing size small and feel it’s pretty true to size, but if in-between sizes I would suggest sizing down. The fabric is nice natural and breathable fabric. It doesn’t wrinkle too easy. I love a good shirt dress – it’s such a versatile classic (which is so my style). It’s also the type of dress that you can find a style or print to suit every personality and body type. Whether you’re more preppy, romantic, minimalistic and prefer a-line, fitted, flowy, midi, maxi or mini! There is shirtdress for you.
