Your Monday morning thoughts can set the tone for your entire week. It’s so important to establish a routine/ morning ritual to get in the right mind frame for the day & week ahead.
As a an imperfect human, I need help with this. So I have to find time to spend with the perfect one, King Jesus, daily. Thru reading His word, I’m renewing my mind with truths & this has helped me combat anything life throws at me. There is literally scriptures to apply to anything and everything we go thru!
What you feed your mind with becomes a mindset. So feed it well & don’t let your thoughts control you, instead, you control your thoughts (take every thought captive).
Here are some tips how you can do this:
Confess what you believe, not what you feel (this takes faith and faith is the substance of things hoped for; the evidence of things not seen Hebrews 11:1).
Resist negative thoughts; assist positive thoughts.
Expect miracles (what is impossible with man is possible with God, Luke 18:27).
Last, but certainly not least, pray. Prayer is so powerful. When we pray we are humbling ourselves & asking God to step into a situation. When we invite God into our lives, situations and such, miracles happen. Here’s the amazing thing too, God doesn’t just care about the big things; he cares about all things, including the little details. In fact, he invites us to turn our worries into prayers (Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God, Philippians 4:6).
God wants us to invite him in to our day, our homes, our businesses – our lives. He’s a gentleman and will not force his way in (Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and dine with him, and he with Me, Revelation 3:20).
The best decision I ever made was inviting Jesus into my life. I choose Him everyday, because I’ve done life my way & have come to the realization that life is just so much more amazing, exciting & fulfilling when he’s by my side, fighting my battles & working out the details. He has an amazing plan for each of us, but we must invite him in.
