Living above our circumstances

Going thru hard times, friend? Let me just reassure you that Jesus didn’t leave you – He’s walking right beside you and even carrying you when needed. I pray whoever needs this would have a revelation of how much your saviour loves you.

Believers, when the going gets tough, I encourage you to keep walking in the spirit. Don’t look at things with your natural eyes. My prayer for you is that God would open your spiritual eyes and give you a glimmer of what He’s up to in your life. Sometimes when I am seeking answers, God will show me, in the form of revelation knowledge and other times, He just gives me so much peace and joy, I don’t question or wonder, but just know, it’s going to be okay (be still and know I am God palsm 46:10).

We can agree it isn’t always easy and God didn’t promise us this life would be, but He did promise to never leave us or forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6). He did promise He’s working all things together for our good (Romans 8:28) and He did promise to fight our battles (so many scripture on this promise, sharing exodus 14:14).

So friend, rest in His promises. They are truth and what you’re seeing in the natural is a mirage, created by the enemy of your soul. Don’t believe His lies, but instead put your trust in the one that supercedes it all. Anything that doesn’t line up with scripture is not truth (psalm 119:105). This is why it’s so important to get into the word and know it. It’s life to all (Hebrews 4:12).

I believe God is asking someone today, “Do you trust me?” I’ve had Him ask me this many times and when I muddle up the courage to say yes, even when I don’t understand or know what’s going to happen next, God has showed up and done only what he can do! These are the moments my faith has grown most. Then it gets easier to trust God with other things, because I just look back and see how faithful and good He’s been to me.

So I encourage you, say yes to God today, even if you’re afraid and things are not making sense. Say yes, I trust you God, then keep reminding yourself/your spirit of His promises. He will give you peace and Joy as He goes to battle for you and it will allow you to stay hopeful as you wait and expect your situation to turn around, because our God is good. He can do more with our lives than we ever could. Remember, His name is victory – “But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 15:57).

When we give it all to him, we allow Him to do some of His best work. When we are mouldable, God can refine us and help us to become all he has called us to be. When we say Jesus take the wheel and put our faith and trust in Him, there is no limit where He can take us. That’s living above our circumstances!
