Who else is looking toward to 2022!? I am sensing so strongly in my spirit we are on the verge of incredible breakthroughs – I know God is up to something & feel big things are on the horizon for His believers.
I feel those things you’ve been praying and believing for are going to come to fruition. Those dreams you’ve been dreaming are going to be birthed. God’s going to pour His favour unto His children. We were born for this moment. He’s been preparing us for such a time as this.
Last week I was doing my workout and the song, “the blessing” came on (if you have never heard it I encourage you to Google and listen, so good). It got me thinking to when it was first released – around March of 2020. We were just about to go into lockdown for two weeks to curb the spread of the dreadful c word.
I got thinking how much we needed this song for that season. I think God was encouraging us and pouring His blessing on us, knowing we were going to go thru some hard times. Looking back I’m reminded He was with us. He had gone before us and made a way. His favour was and is upon us and our families – that’s pretty incredible.
When I think back to some things that occurred over the last two years or since we went into that first lockdown, it’s crazy to think we faced some of our biggest challenges as a family. I’m sure many of you could say the same thing. When I think of some of these major stressor’s we went through personally, I smile, because I can see God’s supernatural protection over us. We were not just victorious in them all, but we enjoyed every second of our life even while we battled, because we weren’t battling along. Heaven was fighting on our behalf!
First, challenge that comes to mind, was discovering news about Ivy’s heart having a hole in it at 6 months of age. Then finding out the hole closed up on its own! Then we discovered she had peanut and egg allergies, which she is basically almost fully cured of!
Follow that up with my cancer diagnosis, followed by a pathology report declaring no cancer found, after a major surgery! Meanwhile, my event business was becoming obsolete and our restaurant was struggling due to Covid.
In the meantime, God was seamlessly enabling me to pivot and began to open more doors to work with more brands through this platform & also lined things up for us to lease our restaurant to a great group of people we know and trust, while still keeping our building as an investment.
We are so much happier and lighter with these tweaks we might have never made on our own. Everything has a season and looking back we can connect the dots and see God truly works all things together for good, for those that love Him.
These are just a few instances of many, that we look back in awe and see God’s hand of protection and favour on our lives. It might have been our toughest couple of years in many ways, but also our best, as our joy was fuller than ever and our faith has been taken to a new level. That is truly priceless and it’a a big why I feel so compelled share God with others. If you don’t know Him you are missing out-big time!
You can also have the blessing of the Lord on your life. You can also live an abundant life and have joy unspeakable. You can also have God’s protection over your life, your family and your businesses. You can decide right now you want to begin a relationship with your Heavenly Father. I promise, if you do, you will never look back, because you’re life will be forever changed. You will know, the best is yet to come.
Praying this blessing over all those that read it. It’s straight from scripture and like all the promises in God’s word, they are yours if you believe and receive with your heart.
