My birthday prayer!

It’s the eve of my birthday & I’m feeling pretty good. Not gonna lie. It’s been a challenging year (or 2 haha). I’m sure we can all relate on some level!

However, when I look back at the last year, I don’t see those challenges as much as I see the victories. I mean, I beat Cancer (by the grace of God). There have been lots of big & small challenging times -that’s life, but you really can’t have the sweet without the sour.

Today I’m thankful for so much. I’m thankful for my amazing family: Andrew, Ivy, Elle, Sadie & Posie. They are my greatest treasures on earth. I’m also thankful to have such amazing siblings & a mom that is always there to encourage, pray & back me up. I am thankful for all my friends, new and old. God handpicked an amazing tribe of women and you all know who you are…

Also, I’m thankful for each one of you! So grateful for this little community. Honoured and humbled you come back to read my content. Thank you so much for the support by liking, commenting and sharing. It truly is a gift to be able to create & share my heart with likeminded women with hopes of inspiring & encouraging. It brings me so much joy.

Most of all, I’m thankful to God. I know that every good gift comes from above. He is my source & the reason I have anything to be thankful for at all! What a good father He is…I might no longer have my amazing earthly dad here, but like Dad taught me, I always have my Heavenly Father.

So today, on the eve of my birthday, instead of making a wish, I boldly go to His throne of grace and pray that me & the hubs will be able to get on a plane with our sweet girls & finally celebrate that bucket list trip for my 40th birthday. The one I missed out on last year due to world circumstances.

I am reminded of Mathew 7:11 “If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!”

Praying our country’s leader reverses the nonsensical travel rules, that do nothing but violate our human rights. We want to move on with our lives like the rest of the world and be free again.

What are you asking God for today!? Comment below so I can agree with you and stand in faith with you! The Bible tells us that if two of us on earth agree about anything we ask for, it will be done for them by our Father in heaven (Matthew 18:19).

I hope this encouraged you! Thanks for taking the time to read!
