I hope you all had a wonderful New Year Celebration. We are returning from a lovely weekend getaway with friends at one of our favourite hotels in one of our favourite seaside little towns. As I reflected on the last year, looking at photos always helps me (I love having photos!), I was remembering the good times and hard times of the past year, while being grateful for the lessons and God’s grace.
2022 started slow and fairly dark, as our world as we knew it had come to a hault. BUT wow, did it ever heat up and turn out to be one of our best years, in so many ways, despite the opposition. God is so good!
One thing is certain, there will always be challenges & life will always have twists and turns we didn’t expect. For me, keeping my focus on God & His goodness is key – it’s all around us, if we just pause to recognize & enjoy it. This has ensured those things and people that try to rob me of my peace and joy, don’t succeed!
Thankful for a wonderful year and very much looking forward to an even better one ahead! Hoping for great things!
