Sneak Peak of Ivy’s Nursery & Nursing Friendly Top…

Crib: Bratt Decor | Crib Bedding: Restoration Hardware| Mirror: Restoration Hardware (on sale!)| Wallpaper: Komar| Area Rug: Pottery Barn Kids (no longer available) | Rocking Bunny: Pottery Barn Kids| Ivy’s Onsie: Carter’s (no longer available)| Ivy’s Bunny: | Jeans: Mousy Vintage | Shirt: Pink Blush | Slippers: Halluci

Here is a little sneak peek of Ivy’s nursery. Although she still sleeps in the bassinet in our bedroom and probably for several more months, we do use her room to change both her and Elle ( yes, Elle isn’t fully potty trained yet, she knows how to use it and has done so, but seems like she’s not ready and don’t want to force her).

I had originally got this wall mural for Elle’s new bedroom but it was slightly too small. I am glad it worked with Ivy’s bedding. I loved the idea of doing blush – it’s just so pretty, but wanted to do a different vibe than Elle. So I went with this velvet bed set, which is so luxe and lovely. I’m so glad the mural worked with it because I really loved it and was glad I could still use it somewhere.

I have linked all the details, including this oversized plaid shirt, which is great for nursing. I have been obsessed with this style of shirt these last few months. I love oversized anything and plaid just seems to have the laidback, cozy vibe I am going for this winter. I feel put together if I have to run out (or answer the door haha), but casual enough to mom comfortably and the buttons allow easy access for nursing. It’s by Pink Blush, a brand I wore a lot during my pregnancy.

This brand made it SO easy and FUN to dress while pregnant. It is not easy to find affordable, trendy and nice fitting maternity clothes (that’s coming from a trained fashion stylist/image consultant!). It really is isn’t.  I had only discovered the brand toward the end of my first pregnancy, which up until then, for the most part, I was buying non-maternity and sizing up, because I really didn’t like any of the maternity clothes I would find. However,  Pink Blush was my go-to with for 85% of my maternity clothes with Ivy though! They were a God send this pregnancy and I was so happy to be able to partner with them as an ambassador!

That said, Pink Blush isn’t only for pregnant women, they also carry plus and regular clothing, including some great fourth trimester stuff for breastfeeding moms (like this shirt).
